Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of four dock workers, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Review customer orders for accuracy and requirements.
- Oversee order picking and fulfillment.
- Notify Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) when orders are ready for pickup.
- Schedule daily and weekly shipments through the online order system, working to minimize backorders and coordinating with the purchasing department as needed.
- Oversee the shipment and tracking of subcontracted items sent to third-party vendors.
- Prepare outgoing shipments in accordance with packing slip details, ensuring secure packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Monitor and evaluate shipping costs regularly, implementing cost-effective practices.
- Complete all necessary customs documentation for cross-border shipments.
- Manage local delivery operations, including truck scheduling, log maintenance, and vehicle upkeep.

- Receive incoming shipments at the warehouse, unpack packages, and verify contents against accompanying documentation.
- Accurately enter received items into the inventory management system and ensure products are properly stored in designated rack locations.
- Organize and stock shelves with incoming materials using appropriate sorting methods and equipment, including forklifts.
- Organize and file packing slips received from suppliers and internal team members.
- Print service and production-related documents as needed to support operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment always.
- Assist with local pickups and deliveries outside of standard warehouse responsibilities when required.
- Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure stock accuracy.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including floor sweeping and garbage removal.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, material handling, and equipment usage policies and procedures.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in alignment with company goals and values.
- Carry out other duties as assigned on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Forklift License.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving.
- ERP knowledge.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Experience within a manufacturing/production environment.
- Lean manufacturing experience desired.
