Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Hawaii with ER, PACU, and ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a critical care float pool covering ER, ICU, and PACU in a hospital setting
• Float to other nursing units as needed to assist but not as primary nurse
• Responsibilities include expediting on other floors, patient transport, sitting with patients, telemetry monitoring, and rapid response/code blue team participation
• 12-hour shifts on evenings and nights
• Schedule includes 72-80 hours per two-week period
• Must be available for all shifts with possible floating to various departments
• Daily duties include assisting on other units, monitoring patients, and participating in rapid response and code blue situations
• Part of a collaborative team covering multiple critical care areas
• Scrub or dress code requirements not specified
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement

Requirements

• Active HI RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in ER, ICU, and PACU
• Current certifications: BLS (or BCLS), ACLS, and PALS
• Must have experience with telemetry monitoring
• Must be willing to float to other nursing units as needed
