Windwalker is seeking dedicated and vigilant individuals to fill the position of a part-time Security Guard/Bouncer at Margaritaville at Faneuil Hall. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's patrons and staff during weekend overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

  1. Crowd Management:

    • Monitor and manage crowd dynamics to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
    • Control entry and exit points, checking identification to verify legal age for entry.
  2. Conflict Resolution:

    • Proactively address and defuse potential conflicts among patrons.
    • Handle disruptive behavior diplomatically and professionally.
  3. Surveillance:

    • Maintain a vigilant watch over the premises, identifying and responding to any suspicious activities.
    • Utilize surveillance equipment effectively to monitor key areas.
  4. Intervention:

    • Take swift and appropriate action in situations requiring intervention.
    • Escort unruly individuals off the premises if necessary.
  5. Communication:

    • Maintain clear and effective communication with fellow security personnel and other staff members.
    • Report incidents promptly to management and, when necessary, law enforcement.
  6. Emergency Response:

    • Be familiar with and execute emergency response procedures.
    • Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic first aid when needed.
  7. Transportation:

    • Possess reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for scheduled shifts.
  8. Training:

    • TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification preferred. Will provide training
    • Participate in ongoing training sessions related to security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a security or bouncer role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Friday: 9pm- 2am
Saturday: 9pm-2am
