Talent Corps is currently seeking Licensed Industrial Journeyman Electricians for a Midlothian shutdown project. If you're passionate about being an electrician and want to be part of a team that's building a sustainable future, we want to hear from you.

Description:

• They will be working 7 12's for 1 month straight.at a shutdown.
• Working Overtime, up to 55 hours+.
• Prepares sketches showing location of raceways and equipment, follows diagrams and blueprints, ensuring that concealed raceways are installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, flooring, and equipment pads.
• Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications, safety codes and local electrical codes.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical raceways, wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switchgear, transformers, switches, bus duct, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or systems.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Meets attendance standards and complies with late/absence notification procedures.
• Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
• Able to work a flexible schedule that may include overtime, evenings and weekends.
• Experience in MV, and HV Terminations a plus.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid TDLR license  
• Valid Identification forms for employment
• Strong understanding of NEC, safety protocols, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Must have reliable transportation
