National HVACR wholesale distributor is looking for a full-time counter sales position to help support our continued growth and expansion. Candidates with multi-year sales experience in HVAC/R field or in other industries preferred but not necessary. Genuine enthusiasm for sales and dealing with people a must. Essential Job Functions

• Basic knowledge of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration - preferred but can train on job
• Greet customers and answer phones promptly and courteously
• Provide professional and knowledgeable assistance to customers through identifying and fulfilling their product requests and answering technical questions
• Provide accurate and timely execution of customer’s orders, requests, and other services
• Ability to establish relationships with HVAC/R contractors, repeat wholesale customers (no retail)
• Use a computer system to research products, conduct invoicing, credits, returns, reclaim, product procurement/replenishment.
• Break down and put away stock
• Regular and punctual attendance
• Overtime and weekend work may be required (during the summer season)
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment inside and out
• Be willing to work, learn and have fun

Qualifications:

• ​Requires moving, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, stretching, and ability to climb ladders
• Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input
• Must be able to write legibly so that anyone can read it.
• Pay is based on knowledge and experience - starts at $19.00 per hour.
