The digital marketing team at Health Care Alliance North America (HCANA) is seeking a strategic and skilled SEO Copywriter to drive impactful communication for our mission-driven healthcare brand. As the voice of HCANA across digital platforms, you’ll craft content that not only reflects our values of compassion and care but also strategically enhances our online visibility.

In this role, you will create engaging, optimized content for our websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media channels to connect with a diverse audience, including individuals seeking support and healthcare professionals. This position is ideal for a results-driven writer with a strong grasp of SEO principles who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can adapt to a range of tones and styles.

Working Hours

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.

• Content Creation : Draft and edit compelling, SEO-optimized content across various channels—blogs, newsletters, social media, email marketing, and internal/external communications—highlighting HCANA’s mission, values, and services.
• SEO Strategy : Conduct keyword research to inform content creation, integrating SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and online visibility.
• Editorial Planning : Organize and maintain a content calendar, aligning with key stakeholders to ensure timely, cohesive, and high-quality content delivery.
• Audience Insight Development : Research and analyze customer segments, tailoring content to resonate with HCANA’s unique audiences, including those affected by addiction and mental health challenges.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, clinical, and operations teams to align content with broader marketing objectives and ensure consistency in messaging across platforms.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Track content performance through tools like Google Analytics and SEMRush, adjusting strategies to maximize engagement, achieve SEO goals, and enhance brand awareness.
• Brand Consistency : Edit and refine partner communications to uphold brand voice, values, and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

• Experience : 4+ years in copywriting, content creation, or communications, ideally in a healthcare, wellness, or high-visibility role.
• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• SEO Knowledge : Demonstrated expertise in SEO principles and tools such as Google Analytics and SEMRush, with a proven ability to drive organic growth through content.
• Writing & Editing Skills : Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Digital Marketing Familiarity : Experience with digital marketing concepts and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred), and ability to craft on-brand messaging that aligns with HCANA’s mission.
• Project Management : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a content calendar, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across departments.

• Industry Experience : Familiarity with healthcare or wellness content, particularly in addiction recovery or mental health.
• Analytical Skills : Ability to interpret analytics and adapt content strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Technical Knowledge : Proficiency with Google Ads, paid search, and knowledge of current SEO trends.
• Background in Journalism or PR : Experience crafting messages that enhance brand credibility and visibility, with an ability to simplify complex health topics for accessibility.

• Digital Marketing : Understanding of Google Ads and familiarity with data analysis for content optimization.
