Inspector/Plan Reviewer/Deputy Building Official for one of our clients in Ventura County.
What You’ll Do
Keep the Building Dept. humming—permits, plan review & inspections
Wear the Building Official hat when the boss is out
Inspect/Plan Review complex residential / commercial / industrial builds (structural, plumbing, mech, electrical)
Log digital reports & records for possible legal use
Tackle complaints quickly, help at the public counter, stay code‐savvy
What You Bring
4 + yrs inspection experience & AA in Construction Mgmt. (BS degree down the road for Building Official)
Current CA ICC/ICBO Building Inspector cert
Clean driver’s license & strong grasp of CA codes, methods, safety standards
People skills that turn “problems” into solutions
Comfortable with Microsoft Office & typical permit software
