We are seeking a talented Welder & Millwright to join our team. This position is diverse and you will get to tackle a wide array of scope, enhancing your ability as a trades person.
The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a small team on site. Our crews consist of 2 people per truck and they must be capable of both welding and technical support, and must be able to make complex decisions in high-pressure environments.
You must be able to work cooperatively with other team members, troubleshoot effectively and efficiently, and be comfortable with physically demanding tasks like climbing up 100ft ladders and walking across steel structure.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks within a predetermined time frame or project completion date.
- Satisfy customers with high-quality, timely work.
- Follow written and verbal instructions accurately and completely.
- Ensure quality of completed projects by completing follow-up work as required, such as editing, polishing, or reworking a product or service.
- Work with customer service representatives to ensure that customers' needs are met.
- Operate equipment such as band saws, engraving machines, welding machines, and drill presses based on instructions from a project leader or blueprint.
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine the job requirements.
- Cut metal using a cutting torch or shears based on instructions from a project leader or blueprint.
- Read computer-aided design (CAD) blueprints and schematics to determine the job requirements.
- Travel to clients' locations for onsite work
- Be comfortable at heights
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and mechanical issues on clients sites
- Mechanical assembly of equipment
- Assembly of structures
