About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Corporate Legal to lead a team in supporting its Latin America media network business. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including program acquisitions, production, advertising sales, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic partner who can structure, negotiate, and draft various agreements, and ensure that all activities are in line with the legal and regulatory framework. The VP, Corporate Legal will also be involved in corporate maintenance for subsidiaries and will be a key member of the corporate legal department, working closely with senior business executives and a variety of legal and commercial experts. Applicants must have outstanding academic credentials, a minimum of 8 years' of transactional or commercial experience, and at least 5 years' of experience managing a legal team. Experience in media networks, production, and entertainment transactions is strongly preferred. The role demands a professional with the ability to work in a collaborative environment, excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of developing strong business relationships. The ideal candidate will be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with fluency in Portuguese being a plus, and have relevant experience across Latin America with a strong knowledge of the local legal landscape in major LATAM markets.
