We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled *Veterinarian* to join our dynamic team. As part of a 3-doctor practice, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care for small animal patients, including dogs, cats, and occasional exotic pets. Our ideal Veterinarian is someone with a strong passion for animal medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide a wide range of veterinary services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and emergency care.
* Develop treatment plans and educate pet owners on health care and preventative measures.
* Perform surgeries and other medical procedures as needed.
* Work collaboratively with fellow veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure the highest standard of care for all patients.
* Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
* Communicate effectively with pet owners, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with treatment plans.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in ongoing professional development.
* Contribute to the hospital's growth and patient care excellence through teamwork and a positive work culture.
*Qualifications:*
* *Veterinarian License* (Required)
* DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
* *Experience in small animal medicine and surgery is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply*
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on compassionate care
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
* A passion for animal welfare and providing high-quality veterinary care
* Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
*Schedule:*
* Full-time or Part-time Veterinarian positions available
* Flexible scheduling options
* Work 4 days a week with 3-4 days off every other weekend
* Closed on Sundays (promoting a great work-life balance)
* Weekends may be required on a rotating basis
*Compensation:*
* *Salary:* $170,000 - $250,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
