Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a MA RN license and proficiency in advanced cath lab procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• 10-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 5:30pm
• Weekend rotation and both weekday and weekend on-call required
• Care for adult cardiac patient population, including diagnostic and interventional cases
• Utilizes advanced equipment such as Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, IABP, and Impella
• Epic EMR experience is required
• Responsibilities include assisting with cardiac interventions, monitoring patients during procedures, and performing all cath lab roles as needed
• Candidates must pass Tele/ECG and medication testing modules if assigned to Milton or Plymouth campuses
• COVID vaccine and booster, as well as flu vaccination, are required unless medically exempt
• Team-oriented environment with support from experienced cath lab professionals
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Parking fees may apply at certain locations

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• Minimum 3-5 years of recent cardiac cath lab nursing experience
• Proficiency in diagnostic caths, interventions, hemodynamic monitoring, and assistive devices
• Experience in all cath lab roles including sedation, monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing highly preferred
• IABP and Impella experience required
• ECMO and EP Lab experience preferred
• Prior foundational ICU or ED experience preferred
• RCIS certification preferred
• Must be separated for at least 6 months from any previous employment with Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities
