\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• 2-3 holidays required from Thanksgiving to New Year's
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 on 55-bed unit
\n• Care for patients with joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbations, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, orthopedic trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, and failure to thrive
\n• Required to titrate heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine drips; manage PCA pumps
\n• Float to other medical surgical areas or units with med-surg patients as needed
\n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA required), ACLS preferred
\n• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
\n• 2-day unit-specific orientation provided
\n• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Must maintain artificial nail prohibition policy
\n• Driver's license required for 50-mile radius verification
\n• Use EPIC charting system
\n• Work with diverse patient population including Spanish, Karen, and Burmese speaking patients
\n• Focus on hourly rounding, responsiveness, and managing multiple discharges and admissions daily
