Overview Test Engineer role focused on thoroughly testing software and collaborating with developers to ensure we release the best software possible. You will work with engineers to evaluate software developed for the Air Force, create test plans and test cases based on user stories, and use automated and manual processes to observe software performance, document results, and communicate defects to the development team. Responsibilities Create test plans and test cases based on user stories. Execute automated and manual tests to observe software performance and reliability. Document results and communicate defects to the development team for improvement. Collaborate with engineers to evaluate software and drive quality in large-scale systems. Develop and broaden skills in automation and cloud computing while sharing testing experience with the team. You Have 7+ years of experience with system testing methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC). 7+ years of experience with functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, system integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing. 7+ years of experience with Agile release methodologies, test automation, developing frameworks, or automated test scripts. Experience with requirements-based software testing, traceability matrices, and CI/CD pipeline solutions. Experience with test methodologies, QA processes, software release cycles, test effort estimation, and tracking. Experience with creating and executing test plans, procedures, test cases, and test reports for functional, system integration, regression, and acceptance testing, and analyzing testing results. Nice If You Have Experience in the test and evaluation of LOS and BLOS voice and data wireless systems. Experience in standup and operation of aerospace and weapon system integration laboratories. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900 to $198,000 annually, depending on location, experience, and other factors. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
