Senior Associate

You'll have the opportunity to experience the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity and transition. You'll be assisting the team focus on key issues like wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture and exit strategies.

Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree

Required Fields of Study: Accounting

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year(s)

Certification(s) Required: Must be committed to obtain certification before being promoted to Manager. Certifications include: Certified Public Accountant, or Member of the Bar.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification(s) Preferred: CPA or Member of the Bar.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in day to day compliance and consulting for a variety of entities including corporations, partnerships, pass through entities and Subchapter S corporations by:

  • Applying technical skills with ASC740;
  • Participating in client discussions and meetings and communicating a broad range of Firm services;
  • Managing engagements by preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues;
  • Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; and,
  • Providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues.

Travel Requirements: Up to 20%
