Our client, a well-respected and award-winning CPA firm, is recognized for its continued growth and now seeks to add a Tax Director to its Construction Clients team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-respected public accounting firm that offers a positive work culture and a balanced work-life approach. They specialize in the manufacturing, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, financial services, staffing, and professional services sectors.

What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws
• Review and approve detailed tax returns and audits
• Oversee tax research and planning on large client projects
• Act as a technical resource for internal and external stakeholders
• Supervise, train, and mentor team members
• Work together with audit teams during large client projects.

Experience You Need

• Over 10 years of public accounting experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Industry expertise working with construction, development, and related industries,
• Experienced in representing clients before tax authorities
• Must have a CPA license
• Experience representing clients before tax authorities
• Minimum of a Bachelors in Accounting or Finance, a Masters in Taxation is highly preferred

Compensation ++

• $180K - $215K annual salary, based on experience
