Position Description

New River Electrical is looking for a qualified Talent Acquisition Partner with knowledge in the construction industry. As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will support the Human Resource function and their projects. The Talent Acquisition Partner leads and implements the talent acquisition initiatives including full life cycle recruiting.This role will lead the development and implementation of a broad-based sourcing strategy. This role will own delivery of a talent pipeline near and long term along with reporting on key metrics. This role will be responsible for establishing strong relationships within New River Electricals’ leadership teams creating their talent acquisition strategy. This position reports to the VP of HR.

Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Partner with business leaders to recruit and hire top talent.
  2. Champion the life cycle recruiting process from intake with the business to the onboarding experience for new hires and transfers.
  3. Represent New River Electrical at job fairs and recruiting events including community activities and business groups.
  4. Manage relationships with temporary agencies and recruiters.
  5. Complete special projects and reporting on talent acquisition KPIs.
  6. Promote collaboration and effective communication across different levels of the organization.
  7. Perform all work in compliance with established regulations, policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and instructions.
  8. Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  9. Participate in ongoing skill, compliance, risk management and security training as required for the position and apply knowledge in daily tasks.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
  11. Travel for this position is not anticipated.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
  1. B.S degree in human resource, business or related degree; plus at least three (3) years of HR support experience as in talent acquisition.
  2. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in the use of a variety of recruitment resources, such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  4. Individual must display a passion for the talent acquisition function and desire to understand and learn the business.
  5. Knowledge of utility or construction industries and how to attract specialized talent preferred.
  6. Proven experience in report writing with ability to analyze data.
  7. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization including C-suite executives.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Ability to conduct training.
  10. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  11. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
