The Fitzwater Center is looking for eight students to work as Production Assistants. Students will work with the Fitzwater Center's staff and technology, including the audio production, podcast and video production, VMix studio facilities. Assistants provide critical support for studio and field productions. They also assist with check out/in of equipment.
Experience and Qualifications:
We offer training on the job, but students must have a strong aptitude for media production technology and the ability to learn quickly.
Must be able to work weekdays as well as some evenings/weekends.
Applicants will need to be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and on a deadline.
Excellent communication skills; patience with constituents when they ask for assistance.
Professionalism and a commitment to customer service.
Working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Expected that Assistant Producers can drive a van or shuttle for RSN, to transport equipment and/or students/staff.
