GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Stock Clerk will receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from the warehouse. The Stock Clerk will be responsible for keeping records and compiling the stock reports.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse.
2. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse or other areas.
3. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
4. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.
5. Mark stock items using electric marking tools or other labeling equipment.
6. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
7. Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.
8. Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages, and shipments.
9. Compile, review and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, and other documents to assess supply needs.
10. Must be able to lift 75lbs without assistance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in a related field.
• Excellent teamwork, time management, organization, handling, and moving objects.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within warehousing
• Forklift certification
