Role: SolidWorks Drafter

Location: Irving, TX

Role Summary:

Require design/drafter experienced with SolidWorks to support a project to convert Inventor models and drawings into SolidWorks. The drafter will be expected to create existing 3D models from the ground up in SolidWorks based on their Inventor counterparts and then recreate the 2D drawings, whilst ensuring that meet Flowserve's CAD guidelines.

This Job is 100% on-site due to restrictions on accessing export-controlled content.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in creating 2D drawing and 3D models using SolidWorks.

Primary Role:

• Convert Inventor files into SolidWorks files by creating the CAD files from the ground up.
• Should be experienced in creating complex geometry for castings.
• Check and correct the outputs from other drafters.
• Upload checked files into the CAD management system.
• Create 3D SolidWorks files from 2D AutoCAD drawings where required.
