SEO SPECIALIST POSITION OBJECTIVE The SEO Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing all aspects of SEO to enhance website performance, search visibility, and organic growth across digital platforms. This role includes developing and executing SEO strategies, overseeing SEO-focused content, managing Google Business Profile optimization, conducting SEO audits, and implementing on-page improvements to drive rankings, engagement, and conversions. Additionally, the SEO Specialist will coordinate with content creators and the admin team, ensure SEO processes align with broader marketing goals, and continuously refine best practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SEO strategy, leadership abilities, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to driving organic growth. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Google Business Profile management and optimization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Google Analytics and SEO certifications are a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve website rankings, drive organic traffic, and increase user engagement, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
  • Own the SEO department, maintaining full responsibility for strategy, execution, and continuous optimization.
  • Coordinate and lead the SEO team, including the content creator (blog writer) and admin handling correspondence and scheduling.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and new content creation, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
  • Select and approve blog posts for scheduling, working with the admin team for final distribution.
  • Optimize website pages, metadata, internal linking, and on-page elements to enhance search visibility.
  • Make minor website changes, including content updates, formatting, and basic technical SEO improvements.
  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profile (GBP) to increase local search presence and engagement, including regular posting.
  • Conduct SEO audits for onboarding new clients, evaluating site health, keyword rankings, and technical issues, and developing actionable improvement plans.
  • Compile and present performance reports, providing actionable insights, recommendations, and strategic adjustments to improve search visibility.
  • Review, refine, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for SEO processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in search engine optimization, implementing necessary updates.
