Job Summary

The Senior Strategic Solutions Consultant is responsible for partnering with our Implementation teams to complete the connection between district goals and PowerSchool product functionality. The SSC participates throughout the implementation process to provide best practices, assist with decision making and long-term adoption planning to ensure the success of this newly purchased solution. Additionally, this professional will provide advanced consulting services to district stakeholders for transformational services, educational and adoption practices. This position provides highly variable and flexible consulting services designed for customers at any stage in their product life-cycle. 

Responsibilities

Engage and collaborate with varying levels of project stakeholders including management, sales, customer service, other specialists, and clients.  Recognize areas of risk and identify solutions.  Manage and consult on PowerSchool implementation engagements to ensure client deliverables are met in a timely manner and workflow goals are as designed.  Maintains a high level of knowledge and proficiency on company products, including new product releases and enhancements, by working individually, reading available documentation, and interacting with cross-functional peers.  Occasionally attends related conferences, facilitation at user groups and support Sales as needed with prospective clients.  Serve in short-term onboarding activities to assist in the seamless integration into the organization and further enhance product adoption.  Stay abreast of educational best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative instructional ideas through participation in a virtual and physical Personal Learning Network (PLN).  Manages customer issues and risks and leads or assists in timely escalation and resolution within and outside of Customer Education and the Services department  Partner with school/ school district stakeholders to develop and track annual goals in alignment with the school/district mission, vision, and strategic plan.  Investigate and analyze client operational processes, provide recommended solutions, assist in strategic goal planning and provide measurable results for ongoing success.  Serve as an internal consultant to other projects or product lines.  Meets and/or exceeds utilization and customer satisfaction goals.  Performs all other responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.   Minimum 7 years experience including school system experience in the areas of administration, student assessment, information technology, and finance or business operations  Extensive knowledge of PowerSchool Solutions and how used in K-12 Education.  Proficient in Microsoft Office and SalesForce/FinancialForce.  Understanding of management related tasks in SalesForce/FinancialForce and business impact of decisions  Knowledge of various web meeting/conferencing software tools  High-level performance with attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.  Ability to learn quickly, understand and explain educational and technical information.  Strong training skills, including exceptional communication and presentation ability.  Work well independently and in a team environment across multiple locations.  Work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  Deliver outstanding customer experiences and adapt/respond to different types of clients with ease.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; highly motivated and flexible.  Ability to travel for client and staff training events on average 30% of the time.  Ability to develop creative solutions for client needs and company goals.  Ability to successfully handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, operating in a demanding work environment.  Create and deliver outstanding customer experiences and adapt/respond to different types of clients with ease.
