As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the site, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be an approachable point of contact, ready to communicate clearly and respond to questions or concerns from staff, visitors, and vendors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters as required by Allied Universal and/or site management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as necessary for authorized personnel and visitors.
• Support Allied Universal and/or client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing assistance as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
