CoStar Group is currently looking for a Search Engine Marketing Specialist to join our San Francisco office focusing on our BizBuySell, BizQuest, and FindaFranchise brands. Applicants must possess the ability to multi-task in order to meet the demands of working with a large paid search account in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.

The paid search marketing component of our team is growing increasingly important for the company to reach our goals in a competitive marketplace. This position will work with an in-house marketing team to manage campaigns on Google and MSN, as well as social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. They will also be responsible for communicating results to various departments and managers within the company. The successful candidate should be highly analytical and a confident self-starter responsible for day-to-day management of our accounts.

This position is located in San Francisco, CA and offers the following schedule:

  • 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of paid campaigns including keyword generation, ad copy writing and testing, bid management and landing page optimizations

  • Ongoing paid search optimization, targeting improvements, and keyword expansion efforts

  • Maintain reporting to demonstrate results and track performance over time

  • Work closely with external partners and vendors including Google and Microsoft

  • Develop strategy and maintain paid placements on social media channels

  • Collaborate with SEO Director to create a complete search experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of paid search marketing experience including hands on experience working with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns

  • Prior management of large scale (100K+) keyword portfolios with budgets surpassing $2M per year

  • Experience with Google Analytics, proficiency in Microsoft Office are required

  • Detail-oriented, analytical and proactive thinker, with a desire to deliver results

  • Excellent communication skills – able to interface across the organization to define projects and access data required to complete projects

  • Copywriting experience and landing page optimization experience.

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Communications or related field required

  • Knowledge and experience of best practices for managing paid search marketing campaigns with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising

  • SQL skills are a plus

  • Paid social media marketing experience is a plus

  • SEO experience is a plus

This position offers a base salary range of $66,500,750 - 142,100 based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
