Job Description

WKYC studios team is looking for a highly creative individual with a keen eye behind the lens. This hands-on, high-creative should be able to combine strong visual composition with multi-media storytelling to help bring our brand to life and create impactful campaigns for our clients.



Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales and clients to create effective visuals for all productions
• Incredible customer service and providing a positive production experience
• Produce and lead a video shoot
• Shoot and edit traditional and digital video content for clients
• Produce compelling marketing campaigns and promotions for the station
• Be a strong brand ambassador for the station in the field and with clients
• Be a skilled photographer/videographer using DSLR and GoPro cameras
• Be able to effectively light a scene, subject or object
• Be able to edit in Adobe Creative suite
• Have a problem-solving skillset and mindset
• Be eager to learn and develop their skillset

• Proven 3 - 5 years of videography experience, with an exemplary portfolio
• Excellent conceptual and communication skills that make you a valued team member
• Experience with video cameras; specifically Cannon 5D, Sony FX30 and Sony FS7
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects.
• Highly positive, can-do attitude, with an eagerness to continue developing their skillsets
• Travel: Frequent: More than 25
• Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
• Physical Demands Set: Medium work: Involves standing prolong hours, stooping, bending, lifting/pushing up to 25 lbs.
