Rollback Non-CDL Driver

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Rollback Non-CDL Driver to join our team. The Rollback Non-CDL Driver will be responsible for transporting modified storage units to various locations, ensuring timely delivery and pickup.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

• Operate and maintain company-owned and leased vehicles
• Load and unload cargo and secure loads using straps and tie-downs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good condition
• Report any mechanical issues or equipment failures to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain accurate logs and records according to DOT regulations
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Communication: Continues communication with equipment control, yard managers, suppliers, vendors, drivers and 3rd party transportation providers.
• Report: Report all accidents/near misses, equipment loss, safety violations, environmental spills before the completion of your shift.
• Other related duties as assigned

Supervision Received : The position is supervised by the Branch Manager and Operations Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience as a commercial driver
• Experience working with winches and other equipment related to the tractor, tanks, and boxes
• Knowledge of hydraulic trailers lowboys, tilt decks, roll off dumpsters, dump trucks
• Complete drivers abstract

MINIMUM TECHICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. up to shoulder level
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Must have own reliable transportation

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 4+ years as a commercial driver
