Job Description

Ivybrook Academy is currently seeking passionate preschool educators for our Powell school campus for students ages 18 months - 5 years. Our schools provide a professional environment where educators can focus their time on igniting the joy of learning in their students. We are seeking educators committed to progressive quality education using a hybrid curriculum of Montessori and Reggio Emilia teaching methods.  

Benefits:

• Salary position 7 weeks paid time off
• School year closely follows Olentangy City Schools calendar
• 8am-12:30pm, Monday-Friday work hours (part-time); One day per week until 1pm for staff meeting (Wednesdays)

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily lessons for the children following a progressive approach to education
• Observe and evaluate each child’s progress
• Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents
• Maintain communication with parents
• Facilitate parent conferences three times per academic year
• Attend staff meetings, training and school functions
• Maintain portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom
• Commit to continuing education
