The Pharmacy Technician Trainee supports pharmacy operations by processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and assisting customers with compassion and accuracy. They troubleshoot insurance claims and ensure proper handling and dispensing of medications under supervision. This role requires basic computer skills, mathematical ability, and potentially state certification, providing opportunities for professional growth within a healthcare setting.

In these areas Wegmans may hire individuals prior to them obtaining the necessary qualifications, while supporting them through the process. At participating locations, Board Certified Pharmacy Technicians will earn a $.50/hour shift differential.
