Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as an Organizational Development Advisor at GDIT. GDIT's Organizational Development (OD) team partners closely with leaders across the enterprise to strengthen leadership alignment, culture, team performance, and overall business effectiveness.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Organizational Development Advisor , you will help build leadership and organizational capacity by supporting meaningful change, engagement, and development initiatives that align with GDIT's strategic priorities.This role is ideal for a collaborative, consultative professional who enjoys working with stakeholders, facilitating impactful experiences, and turning data and insights into action. You will serve as a trusted advisor, project owner, and thought partner across a range of organizational development and change management efforts.

HOW AN ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Organizational Change Transformations
  • Support change management efforts tied to organizational, process and technology initiatives
  • Develop change strategies that include stakeholder impact assessments, communication plans, training approaches and adoption measures
  • Measure change adoption and effectiveness

Program Design & Facilitation
  • Co-design and co-facilitate development programs, workshops, and training sessions across in-person, hybrid, and virtual environments
  • Support the creation of innovative programs that build leadership and organizational capability
  • Design training materials, job aids, and supporting resources
  • Assist with organizational assessments, focus groups, and engagement efforts to surface insights and opportunities

Stakeholder Partnership & Consulting
  • Build trusted relationships through strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Present ideas, approaches, and recommendations to leaders at various lev
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and inform recommendations
  • Prepare reports on program outcomes and impact to guide future strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for all programs and initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Education : Bachelor's degree
  • Experience : 8+ years of relevant experience OR 6+ years with a master's degree
  • Role requirements: Strong foundation in organizational development principles, organizational behavior, and best practices . Experience supporting change management initiatives. Clear, professional communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats. Comfortable presenting and facilitating virtually using Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organization and attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics. Strong interpersonal skills including active listening, rapport-building, executive presence, and organizational savvy. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels. Business acumen and sound judgment to effectively support internal clients. Curious, self-aware, and committed to continuous learning and growth.
  • Preferred Skills and Abilities: Certification in Prosci or another recognized change management framework. Experience with personality and leadership assessments such as DiSC, MBTI, or Hogan.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working at a GDIT facility in either Falls Church, VA, Herndon, VA, or Gaithersburg, MD. Must be comfortable working onsite (3) days a week minimum and traveling to other offices as needed.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $110,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
