JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist drives demand generation and brand visibility for our B2B portfolio—forklifts, rentals, service, parts, racking, automation, and operator training. You will own lead‑management processes, translate data into actionable insight, and help architect the marketing function for long‑term scale. This role is ideal for a high‑initiative professional who wants to grow into a leadership position and isn’t afraid to build programs from the ground up.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

% Time Responsibility Success Indicators 30 % Lead‑Management & SOP Ownership —Draft, refine, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lead capture, qualification, routing, and SOP adherence; train sales & service reps on workflow changesSOP completion & adoption ≥ 95 %; lead hand‑off time ≤ 24 h25 % Dashboard & KPI Reporting —Design and administer real‑time dashboards (CRM, BI tools, Excel/Power BI/Looker, etc) to track and funnel lead metrics, campaign ROI, and customer‑lifecycle valuesDashboards live & error‑free; weekly KPI deck issued before 9 am Monday20 % Sales Collaboration & Lead Nurture —Proactively follow up on aged or stalled leads with account reps or directly with customers; draft nurture sequences (newsletter/email, SMS, LinkedIn/socials, etc.) to re‑engage prospects≥ 15 % lift in lead conversion rates; “stalled leads” aged >30 days reduced by 40 %15 % Campaign Execution —Coordinate digital ads, trade‑show collateral, webinars, and content pieces (case studies, white papers) aligned to forklift & warehouse personasOn‑time delivery; campaign CPA within 10 % of target10 % Strategic Department Development —Research program/system improvements, propose annual budget items, and build a 3‑year roadmap for the marketing functionRoadmap approved; budget recommendations adopted into annual plan

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years in B2B industries with a focus on marketing, CRM, or Process Improvement (industrial, logistics, or capital‑equipment sectors highly preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in CRM/marketing‑automation platforms (Sugar/SuiteCRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, Dynamics or similar)
  • Proven ability to create SOPs and train cross‑functional teams to properly utilize them.
  • Intermediate‑to‑advanced data skills: pivot tables, basic SQL or BI tools, A/B testing, and dashboard creation.
  • Excellent copywriting and content‑repurposing skills for technical audiences
  • Strong project‑management discipline; comfortable balancing multiple deadlines
  • Ability to function in a controlled but “blue ocean” type of environment.

TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE:  The typical work schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
