Overview Manager Clinical Informatics role at Providence. The Manager, Regional Clinical Informatics collaborates with Directors and Medical Informatics for the implementation, support, and ongoing optimization of clinical informatics, Caring Reliably framework, IS strategy and other organizational commitments. Responsibilities Collaborate with Directors and Medical Informatics on the implementation, support, and ongoing optimization of clinical informatics and related frameworks. Provide leadership in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office and remote work to meet departmental needs. Support operational continuity and leadership during critical situations; be on-call flexible as required to support team members outside standard business hours. Location, Schedule, and Work Arrangement Hybrid role: combination of in-office and remote work each week. Weekly hybrid schedule determined by the manager based on departmental needs. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance (75 miles) of Spokane, WA. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related healthcare field — or equivalent education/experience. 6+ years of experience in clinical practice, clinical informatics and management. 4+ years of experience in clinical or IT functional management in comparable organizations, including financial and supervisory accountability. Demonstrated ability to manage and execute strategic plans for highly complex issues. Ability to communicate with all levels and manage shifting priorities and accountable for deliverables. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Nursing, Informatics, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related field — or equivalent education/experience. On hire: Certification in Informatics; Epic Certification in one or more applications; Informatics certifications or credentialing. 3+ years of experience in program and project management including multi-project integration and process/workflow redesign. Compensation and Benefits The base pay range is $54.21 – $85.59 per hour; additional compensation may be available (e.g., shift differentials, on-call, overtime, bonuses).
