Job duties for Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

· Removals-One person at hospital and nursing home

· Embalming

· Cosmetizing, dressing and casketing

· Working Visitations and Funerals

· On-Call nights and weekends, determined by agreement

· Crematory operations—Including pet cremations

· Making funeral arrangements as needed

· General funeral preparation (memorial folders, register books, set up)

· General funeral home maintenance (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, other as needed)

· General outdoor cleaning as needed (stick and trash removal)

· General Legacy Center cleaning as needed

· Community Involvement

· Removals of pets from location of death

· Other jobs/duties as needed and directed by owners

Additional Compensation:

• Bonuses

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends required
• Holidays required
• On call

Typical end time:

• 5PM

• 8AM

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

• New graduate from Mortuary School or recently licensed.
