Job Description

We have an opening for a Well-Qualified Journeyman or Apprentice Service Representative located in Jamestown, ND.

Applicants must be sufficiently qualified as a Journeyman Lineman or Apprentice Lineman and be able to do necessary emergency repair work. Must have a diploma from an accredited line worker program or equivalent experience. Must have knowledge of electric line construction, maintenance, and repair. Must be able to assume responsibilities for area operations, maintain favorable public relations, and supervise and instruct assistants as necessary. Must have a valid unrestricted interstate commercial driver's license. Successful applicant will be expected to reside within 17 miles of permanent headquarters in Jamestown, ND.

Serves as the Company representative in the designated group of towns. Installs, removes, or replaces meters in customer establishments. Installs and maintains service lines, receiving customer complaints and performing necessary repair work to overhead distribution or service facilities.
