Job Description Expected Start Date: June 2025 Position Level: Specialist Job Purpose: To provide technical support to clients, manage IT environments, and optimize customers’ networking environments to facilitate maximum efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Travel Required: Yes, immediately. Expect to make around 3 trips to domestic, major-market locations each month, each lasting 2-3 business days. No travel during weekends. Primary Responsibilities: Provide prompt and courteous help desk assistance to customers on-site and over the phone, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking, Internet basics and its workings (DNS, security, IP routing, VPN, email routing, spam, etc.), and VoIP implementation and support. Collaborate with vendors and clients to coordinate projects including development and installation of IT systems. Build and manage relationships with third-party vendors including, but not limited to, AllScripts, Sage, Apple, Intuit, ISPs, etc. Develop and maintain documentation of all IT-related processes and implementation plans. Qualifications and Experience: Education: High school diploma or GED required. Experience: 1-5 years in information technology or extensive experience working in a service-based company. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, work in hot/cold conditions, and work in lying, sitting, or standing positions, including on ladders, attics, and above ceiling tiles.
