Are you ready to lead and elevate the HR function for a global industrial technology leader with a strong legacy and forward-looking vision?

We are conducting a search on behalf of a global manufacturer with U.S. headquarters in Rome, Georgia. This privately held company, with over 100 years of history, specializes in precision engineering and industrial solutions for sectors including aerospace, automotive, metal fabrication, and medical manufacturing. With approx. 150 U.S.-based employees and operations spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia, this organization is poised for growth — and is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to help shape that future.

About the Role

This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the CFO and functionally linked to the Head of Group HR in Europe. As HR Manager, you’ll take ownership of all core HR functions — with a mission to elevate culture and engagement across all levels of the organization.

You will lead recruitment and retention efforts, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, oversee payroll and benefits administration, and cultivate a performance-driven, people-first culture. The right candidate will bring a strong HR generalist background, a collaborative and empathetic leadership style, and a passion for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all HR operations: talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, training, and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with site leadership and international counterparts to align HR initiatives with company objectives.
  • Ensure legal compliance (incl. OSHA and workers’ comp), manage payroll and benefits, and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Build trust across the organization — from shop floor to executive level — by demonstrating fairness, empathy, and sound judgment.
  • Serve as a strategic partner, helping position the organization as an employer of choice in the region.
  • Track key HR metrics, propose improvements, and contribute to broader business discussions.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in a hands-on HR Manager or Business Partner role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor law, workers’ comp, OSHA compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and integrity.
  • SHRM membership or certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel in particular); experience with HRIS/payroll systems.
  • A mindset for culture-building and organizational development, not just administration.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality and fairness.
