Job Description

What Youll DoDrive People Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, and HR compliance for multi-state teams.Lead Talent Acquisition: Build and manage recruitment strategies that attract top talent across engineering, construction, operations, and project management. Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and strengthen pipelines.Shape Culture and Engagement: Design programs that strengthen team connection, recognition, and retention. Lead initiatives around culture, DEI, and employee engagement.Build HR Infrastructure: Create and optimize HR systems, policies, and workflows that support growth and scalability. Introduce automation, documentation, and structure where needed.Partner with Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor on organization design, workforce planning, and leadership development. Help define what great looks like at every level of the company.Performance and Growth: Develop frameworks for reviews, goal setting, and career development. Help managers identify high performers and provide tools for feedback and coaching.Compliance and Policy: Keep company policies current with federal and state employment laws. Manage documentation and training for safety, compliance, and workplace ethics.Support Expansion: Play a key role as we open new offices and onboard new markets. Ensure seamless integration of people, systems, and culture.What You BringExperience: 5+ years in HR management or generalist roles, ideally within a fast-growing technical, construction, or manufacturing company.Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate company goals into actionable HR programs that drive measurable results.Operational Excellence: Proven record of managing complex HR operations across multiple states with accuracy and speed.Talent Leadership: Strong grasp of recruiting strategies, onboarding, and retention programs that keep top performers engaged.Compliance Expertise: Deep understanding of U.S. employment law, multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and workplace regulations.Systems Mindset: Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and workflow automation tools.Builders Mentality: Excited to create, document, and refine HR processes from the ground up not just maintain them.Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, excellent communication, and a steady presence during high-growth transitions.Culture Fit: A genuine passion for people and a belief that high performance and humanity can coexist.What We Offer
