Primary Responsibilities

1. Read, interpret, and follow electrical drawings, wiring schematics, and specifications.
2. Plan and execute new installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs for both high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems .
3. Bend conduit using hand, mechanical, or hydraulic benders.
4. Pull wire to connect panels, motors, lights, outlets, and controls.
5. Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
6. Safely use tools including saws, threaders, wire tuggers, knock punches, drills, and compression tools.
7. Work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining accountability for tools, equipment, and materials.
8. Maintain clean and organized work sites.
9. Demonstrate safe work practices and complete all required documentation.

Must-Haves

1. High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical installation per NEC and local codes.
3. Ability to plan installations that are safe, efficient, and maintainable.
4. Proficiency with hand tools including benders and drills.
5. Solid understanding of electrical circuits.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers.
7. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
8. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
9. Ability to carry up to 50 lbs., work at heights up to 90 feet, and perform duties in confined or restricted spaces.

Good to Have

1. Journeyman Card (preferred).
2. 5+ years of experience with both high- and low-voltage installations.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
4. Flexibility to occasionally travel outside the area (overnight stays may be required).
5. Willingness to attend night training/educational classes as needed.
