EHS Manager

Title: EHS Manager 
Location:  Cincinnati, OH -- We provide relocation assistance
Salary: $120,000- $145,000/year

Founded in the early 1900s we are a mid-sized wholesale provider of commercial and industrial flooring solutions. Our headcount has increased over 10% the past 2 years as we continue to expand our product line and gain market share in our space.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Lead the investigation of incidents and accidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Train employees on safety practices, environmental regulations, and emergency response procedures.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement of safety programs.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate safety and environmental practices into operational processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field or equivalent work experience 
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations and standard 
• Proven experience in conducting audits and inspections for compliance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and train teams.
• Certification in EHS practices (such as NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent) is preferred.
