ABOUT THIS ROLE:

This is not a generalist role. We're looking for an experienced Google Media Buyer who has deep, direct experience scaling eCommerce brands using Google Ads and YouTube Ads. You'll manage strategy and execution for multiple client accounts and play a key role in driving measurable, profitable growth across Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube.

If you've worked in lead gen or adjacent spaces but haven't been in the weeds of eCommerce performance marketing — this role likely isn't the right fit. We're looking for someone who has scaled product-based businesses and understands the nuances of acquisition, ROAS, LTV, and funnel velocity from both a strategic and tactical standpoint.

Please note: We're looking for candidates that have expertise working with US Ecom Agencies, preferably.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement Google Ads strategies that directly impact eCommerce sales and ROAS.

  • Manage and optimize ad campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube.

  • Create targeted YouTube campaigns (TrueView, bumper, discovery) that drive brand engagement and product sales.

  • Conduct keyword research, competitive audits, and audience targeting specifically tailored for eCom buyers.

  • Collaborate with creatives to produce conversion-focused copy, visuals, and videos.

  • Analyze performance using Google Ads, YouTube Analytics, and GA4; translate findings into clear strategic actions.

  • Monitor spend, pacing, and budget distribution with a focus on profitability.

  • Own client communication and reporting, providing insight-rich updates and proactive recommendations.

  • Stay ahead of platform changes, betas, and trends to keep our strategies sharp.

  • Manage multiple eCom accounts effectively, prioritizing what drives growth.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • You've scaled eCommerce brands profitably through Google and YouTube Ads — not just managed accounts, but owned strategy and performance.

  • Experience managing multiple clients or working in an agency environment.

  • Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Google Analytics, and eCom growth metrics.

  • Sharp analytical skills — you're fluent in interpreting performance data and know what levers to pull.

  • Clear communicator who can explain insights and recommendations with confidence.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading initiatives without hand-holding.
