JOB SUMMARY AND DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE WORK :

QUALIFICATIONS :

• You have a proven track record in structured finance, securitization, and modeling within real estate investment banking or similar experience (10+ years)
• 3-5 years of experience specifically modeling commercial mortgages
• 8-10 years of experience modeling portfolio cash flows
• CFA qualification with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Familiarity with modeling and analyzing portfolio rollups at the fund level to make recommendations on creating alpha and limiting beta.
• Proficient in Argus
• Ability to balance multiple objectives and self-direct activities to accomplish objectives.
• Strong ability to collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrates exemplary verbal and written communication skills, capable of providing clear direction and effective coaching to team members. Must be able to balance deep attention to detail with the overarching objectives and goals of the analysis.
• Pivots as appropriate.
• Meets deadlines & manages multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Learns from constructive feedback.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• The role will have a focus on modeling debt, equity, preferred equity, and other investment activities across funds and separate accounts.
• Provide analytic guidance to inform asset and portfolio decisions, which may include valuations, deal structuring, and deal optimization.
• Develop hold sell and valuation analyses to evaluate assets and portfolios.
• Analyze and interpret data and make adjustments to inputs / methodologies as needed.
• Create, maintain and enhance cash flow analytics models for both fixed and floating-rate debt scenarios to project portfolio performance.
• Perform cash flow tie-outs and ensure data quality.
• Maintain clear documentation on modeling procedures and business rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the cross-department analytics team to ensure optimal deal terms and effective risk management.
