WHAT YOU'LL DO Perform basic management/leadership responsibilities for direct reports (e.g., 1-1 meetings, performance reviews, coaching, professional development, hiring, onboarding). Manage and track capacity, resource needs, and budgets for vertical roadmap, identify risks, and work with stakeholders to ensure delivery of roadmap. Implement short- and long-term strategic plans for product development and library maintenance based on identified priorities and business needs in collaboration with VP of Curriculum Design. Collaborate with Product Management on vertical strategy related to roadmap and content development, and provide input, based on industry and market knowledge. Develop and oversee vertical CD and writing team and work with VP of Curriculum Design to implement plans for team development including resources, professional development, career paths, etc. Disseminate information across the team (e.g., key updates with CDs, roadmap status and risks with VP and PM) and during team meetings. Review established industry-specific and instructional design best practices and standards, learner feedback, and stakeholder feedback relevant to content creation and overall content development practices to identify trends and areas for potential writing upgrades and changes. Other duties as assigned.
