The Crystal Lake Park District is on the lookout for a Full-Time Custodian
who's ready to roll up their sleeves and help our facilities sparkle! From community centers to recreation spaces, your work will ensure our guests feel at home-whether they're learning, playing, or just stopping by.

Work Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 5:30pm-2am, available to work some Fridays or Saturdays

What You'll Do:

• Keep floors so clean you can see your reflection-sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and more
• Make restrooms fresh and functional (yes, they matter a lot!)
• Maintain cleanliness in offices, public areas, and event spaces
• Tackle minor repairs, replace lightbulbs, and help set up for fun events
• Keep exterior facility areas neat and tidy
• Use custodial tools and cleaning products like a pro
• Be a facility superhero-identifying and reporting issues before they become problems!

You Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of custodial experience (preferred-but if you're a fast learner, we're listening!)
• A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemical safety
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work weekends/holidays as needed, and stay on your feet
• A team-first attitude, strong communication skills, and pride in your work
