What You Will Do As the Community Engagement and Development Director, you will lead the strategy and execution of TruMark's community outreach and social responsibility initiatives.
• Develop and implement community development and engagement programs aligned with TruMark's mission.
• Represent TruMark at community events, meetings, and forums to expand visibility and promote financial wellness.
• Build partnerships with schools, nonprofits, legislators, local organizations and businesses.
• Manage philanthropic programs, sponsorships, volunteer initiatives, and Bank at Work collaborations.
• Work with branch leaders to build local partnerships that support member growth and retail performance.
• Track and report metrics to measure program effectiveness across the retail network.
What You Bring to the Table Education • Bachelor's degree in business, public relations, marketing, or a related field required.
• MBA preferred.
Experience • Ten years of experience in community engagement or business development.
• Five or more years of leadership experience in a financial service, municipal, or nonprofit environment.
Skills • Strong relationship building and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of corporate social responsibility, public affairs, and the Community Reinvestment Act.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and represent TruMark confidently in public settings.
• Strategic planning and project management experience.
Availability • Able to attend community events and partnership activities as needed, which may include evenings or weekends.
