CNC Programmer
\n
As our CNC Programmer , you will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager, experience challenges and rewards and have an opportunity to shape and influence our environment.
\n
Under the guidance of our Manufacturing Manager, our CNC Programmer is responsible for improving manufacturing through development of CNC programs, process, machines and equipment in the most effective and efficient manner. Working closely with the J/E team you will ensure target and deadlines are met complying with OH&S legislation as well as J/E Bearing and Machine’s policies. As a result, your work has a direct impact towards fulfilling business goals.

We are seeking a person with the following skill set and competencies:
\n
\n - Grade 12 (OSSD) or equivalent education.
\n - Related trades certifications, courses or diploma from a recognized post-secondary school is a significant asset:\n
\n - Certificate of Qualification for General Machinist or Tool and Die Maker
\n
\n \n - Minimum 5 years programming related experience in a custom machining environment in the manufacturing industry.
\n - Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
\n - Proficient computer skills and competency in MS office, Mastercam, Solidwork.
\n - Knowledge of machining methods for medium to complex components.
\n - Awareness of 3-5 axis programming with mill-turn experience.
\n - Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
\n - Comprehension of work holding equipment and some knowledge of machine posts.
\n - Must provide a clean criminal record check upon hire.
\n
\n
Your skills and competencies will help you:
\n
\n - Interpret blueprints and program parts using MasterCam Software for various CNC machines, such as Vertical/Horizontal machining centers, 5 axis milling machines, multi-spindle lathes and wire EDM.
\n - Have an understanding of Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhein and Siemens controllers.
\n - Liaison between CNC Operators / Machinists, ensuring production personnel have everything required for manufacturing of jobs such as CNC codes, check sheets, etc.
\n - Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
\n - Support all phases of the manufacturing process including: product quality, cost improvements and product manufacturability.
\n - Actively support manufacturing equipment and process problems.
\n - Creating, organizing and maintaining accurate documentation of tool drawings, design concepts, shop order and concepts in accordance with quality functions.
