We are currently looking for a talented CNC Grinder Machinist for our B-Shift. Mon-Thurs, 4:30PM-3:00AM. Training will be on A-Shift Mon-Thur. 6A-4:30P but is dependent on experience.

Job Description

Essential Duties:

\n
1. Operate appropriate (ID/OD) CNC grinding equipment and other machinery as necessary to produce the required number of correct parts in a timely manner according to process documentation. This can include operating multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously.

2. Correctly setup jobs in assigned equipment in a timely manner.
\n
3. Perform 1st piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges and CMM equipment according to process documentation.
\n
4. Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.
\n
5. Perform operator maintenance.
\n
6. Diagnose and correct equipment or tool issues.
\n
7. Perform de-burr or rework of work in-process.
\n
8. Make recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processes.
\n
9. Maintain work station to 5S standards.
\n
10. Perform all work according to PAC safety standards and comply with all PAC policy and procedures.

Qualifications

\n
1. 3 year minimum of successful essential duty related experience; including operation of cylindrical surface and creep feed grind production machinery.
\n
2. Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height), optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
\n
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
\n
4. Strong GD&T and Blueprint reading skills.
\n
5. Basic Windows and MS Office skills.
\n
6. Ability to perform basic math functions.
\n
