About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead its People & Culture function with a focus on strategic HR management and organizational development. The CPO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for ensuring that all HR practices align with the company's mission, values, and operational goals. This includes overseeing recruitment, compliance, employee experience, and HR operations. The successful candidate will be a steward of organizational culture, building high-trust relationships across all levels, and advocating for both employees and leadership. The role demands a leader who can drive operational excellence through people-first practices, and who is committed to the core values of leading with heart, strength in unity, and a mentality of continuous improvement. Applicants for the CPO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years in executive or senior roles. A strong background in talent management, organizational development, HR strategy, compliance, and cultural leadership is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in shaping organizational culture, mentoring senior leaders, and aligning HR strategy with business objectives. Extensive knowledge of Hawaii state labor laws, federal employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements is a must. The role requires exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, and relationship-building skills, and a Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree and HR certifications are preferred. The CPO should be a passionate individual who embodies the company's culture and values.
