About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join its leadership team and champion a People First culture. The CPO will be responsible for leading a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the company's scientific, educational, and operational goals. This includes overseeing the full employee life cycle, from talent acquisition to development and retention, and guiding the design of programs that reinforce an inclusive and purpose-driven culture. The successful candidate will also provide executive oversight of the total rewards strategy, ensure compliance with employment laws, and lead the company's immigration programs. The ideal candidate for the CPO role at the company will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience. They must have a proven track record in leading large-scale people and culture initiatives, particularly in a research institute, academic medical center, or similarly complex organization. Deep understanding of employment law, workforce compliance, and organizational development practices is essential. The CPO will be expected to provide thought leadership on the future of work, workforce readiness, and workplace culture in a research and academic environment, and to champion the use of people data, analytics, and digital tools to inform strategy and support decision-making.
