Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Marysville, WA 98271. This is a 6+ month assignment (Possibility of extension) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Name: Medical Assistant

Location: Marysville, WA 98271

Duration: 6+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Payrate: $25/hr -29/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Schedule: Shifts may vary, start times 7am - 6pm.Not to exceed 40 hours per week.

Work days per week: 4 or 5 depending on shift length.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivering high quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone and electronic contact with for the purpose of examination, treatment, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedure.
• Collection and documentation of patient information to include vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, status of extended care benefits and other services.
• Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies.
• Assist with tasking, phone calls, and messages; document all actions taken.
• Proper, concise, and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures.
• Prepare and clean patient rooms, set up instruments and equipment according to protocol while maintaining infection control.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Active Interim or Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) through the Washington State Department of Health
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)

What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart?

• 1+ years of experience working as an Medical Assistant
• Bilingual English and Spanish

Type of certification required: MA-C or MA-R
