The Caf Barista prepare beverage orders in accordance with the Emily Hotel standards and recipes. Manage the flow of guests in and around caf bar area. Keep caf area clean and organized.

What Will You Do?

• Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
• Prepare coffee, tea, cocktails and other drink orders to guests' specifications while maintaining the Emily Hotel quality standards.
• Handle payment for beverage and food purchases in compliance with the Emily Hotel and cash handling procedures.
• Maintaining espresso machines, grinders, coffee machines and other equipment by cleaning and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Properly input guest orders through the POS system.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the menu offerings.
• Manage inventory for pastries, snacks, coffee, tea, liquor and other beverage ingredients.
• Perform side work as needed. (i.e., keeping area clean, restocking, etc.)
• Comply with safety sanitation guidelines and procedures.
• Get along well with others and be a team player.
• Other duties will be assigned as needed.

What You Bring

• Previous experience as a barista
• Hotel and/or coffee shop experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED

Salary Range:

$16.39
