Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Overnight Warehouse Picker in one of the largest spice companies in North America. As a vital member of our client's warehouse operations, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing items for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize pick lists or digital inventory systems to locate and retrieve items from designated storage areas within the warehouse.

2. Ensure accurate picking of items by verifying part numbers, quantities, and product descriptions.

3. Operate material handling equipment such as double pallet jack safely and efficiently.

4. Pack and label items according to shipping requirements, ensuring proper handling and protection during transit.

5. Perform quality control checks to identify and report any damaged or defective items.

6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse by keeping aisles clear and storage areas tidy.

7. Collaborate with other warehouse team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily production goals.

8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

9. Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.

10. Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for optimizing workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.

2. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

3. Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as a double pallet jack

4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

7. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software or systems.

8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

9. Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

Pay for this position would be starting you out at $16.00 per hour. Adecco provides one of the most comprehensive benefits packages in the industry to contract workers. Benefits are available to you as a contractor after one week of employment.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
