This position is charged with making decisions that impact demand, supply and final consensus plans and communicating those decisions to stakeholders, as well as identifying and resolving plan variances, risk, and opportunities. This role will enable structures around Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and manages/facilitates the S&OP and MRP (i.e. S&OE) processes. This position also contributes to special projects and other supply chain and business strategy initiatives. This role contributes to annual and strategic planning and direction setting for the business.

Process Owner/Improver
- Ensure that planning processes are sustained at the intended maturity level with adherence to the relevant weekly and monthly processes.
- Use metrics and analytical tools to drive Data based decisions
- Identify framework to conduct health check on planning processes
- Drive and own improvements in planning systems, reporting, teams and processes (including interfaces in and out of other functional and cross-functional processes) through the development of supporting business cases.
- Document the current process description in the S&OP and S&OE playbooks and update when needed.
- Align changes to the process as impacted by other changes (e.g., organizational changes in commercial or finance, company structure, M&A, etc.).
- Work Closely with Commercial team to drive bottoms up Demand planning Structure and improvements while building accountability.
- IBP / S&OP
- Establishment and development of the NA S&OP Team
- Manage demand and supply teams including supply network planning and optimization to develop monthly S&OP input (medium- or long-term demand and supply plans and working capital position)
- Define, steer, and develop central S&OP process and cycle proactively
- Responsibility for and synchronization of S&OP Sub-processes (Demand Planning, Supply Planning Materials, Supply Planning Capacity)
- Facilitate discussions between Finance, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to develop mitigation plans for anticipated supply gaps
- Conduct and/or facilitate what-if analysis to create alternate scenarios for reconciling demand, supply and financial plans. Explain and communicate the risks and upside associated with different scenarios for more productive cross-functional discussions.
- Ensure complete consensus demand in collaboration with Sales and plants
- Reflect consensus demand in the supply planning
- Align supply planning result with relevant functions/plants
- Share material demand forecast with external partners
- Creation of supply plans for raw material, capacity and personnel, comparison with "constraints" to identify bottlenecks
- Drive change management to bring a proactive information stream from different functions/plant to the S&OP team
- Work to reduce costs of S&OP process, recommending improvements to procedures
- MRP
- Establishment and development of the NA MRP Team
- Define, steer, and develop central MRP process and cycle proactively
- Manage team of Material Planners to continually assess operational network planning assumptions in conjunction with purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics/warehousing, including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities, campaign or production strategy, batch yields and cycle times.
- Responsible for overall inventory levels at various stages in the supply chain in order to achieve customer satisfaction levels as well as mitigate inventory exposure.
- RFQ process: Monitor potential projects, especially for products with critical supply situation
Leader/Decision Maker
- Responsible for all decisions related to recruitment, hiring, training, and on-going development of all staff related to both the S&OP and MRP Teams
- Manage cost budget for team
- Build and develop effective teams to transact Demand- and Supply Planning
- Management of a team for central material planning and local material schedulers
- Work with various cross-functional teams on projects such as new product launches, line extensions, product discontinuations, promotions and events. Demonstrate sound business decision making aligned with company goals.
- People Management - Manage sub-teams by setting goals with team leaders, constant feedback and exceptions handling
- Metrics Team Structures – Drive Collaboration across the functional teams (Plant team, Commercial) to develop end to end integrated supply chain structure
KPI Manager
- Develop, implement, and monitor key S&OP KPIs impacted by demand and supply planning activities and outputs.
- Develop, manage, and monitor optimized inventory targets and KPIs or inventory levels and inventory health in line with organizational objectives.
- Channel continuous improvement ideas and select suitable ones to turn into projects.
- Determine methods to address and correct any demand and supply planning group behaviors that adversely affect S&OP KPIs.
Digital Enablement
- Utilize and develop corporate systems for Demand and Supply Planning
- Drive Strategic projects to improve the maturity of Supply Chain Planning
- Ensure centralized data maintenance and optimization
- Facilitate technical training to ensure that standard processes are known to local supply chain organizations/resources
- Share standard short-term planning approach and best practices
- Monitor the non-standard usage of system and related standard processes
- Utilize and develop corporate KPI reporting software
- Manage transfer of the planning processes into integrated corporate software solutions
Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this role is from $ 147,450.00 to $ 176,940.
If applicable… An annual incentive is awarded to eligible employees upon attaining various business and individual goals as defined by the Company and the department leader. This annual incentive is discretionary, and the Company has sole discretion to determine the amount of the award.
